Check out Madeline's article which was in The Advocate yesterday. The actual newspaper had six pictures of her, but there is one picture on the online version. Thanks to the writer Robin Miller for doing a great job. Enjoy!

So glad for madeline. I sent you an email. My son, Austin, 21 now, was diagnosed with JDMS in 1998 by Dr. Donna Nunnally who was at the BR CLinic. Diagnosis was confirmed by Dr. Abraham Gedelia at Childrens Hospital in New Orleans and Dr. Barry Myones at Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston. There were 2 other children in the state of LA who were under Dr. Gedelias care for JDMS also. Austin was placed on the JDMS National Registry and followed until June 2008 by Dr. Lauren Pachman at Chicago Children's Hospital. Please tell Madeline Austin is CURED of JDMS and at the time of his high School graduation from Runnels he was ranked the # 10 Tennis singles player for USTA 18 yr old boys in the state of LA. God is so faithful and He can heal your precious daughter the same way HE healed Austin!

Kathy- your posting was such a inspiration! My 14yr old son was dx with JDMS in March 2010 and is presently receiving IVIG treatments at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Our family is trusting in Our Faithful God for complete healing also. Tyler had been active in tennis, basketball and soccer and is unable to play at this time. Praise God for your son's healing and congratulations on his accomplishments!
